1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the ConsentVault website and platform (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Use of the service
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it using a method other than the interfaces we provide.
3. Accounts & security
If you create an account, you are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
4. Customer data
Where you use the platform to process personal data, you remain the data fiduciary for that data and are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to process it. We act as your processor under the applicable agreement.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and content, is owned by ConsentVault and protected by applicable laws. These terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.
6. Availability & changes
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend or discontinue features, and may revise these terms from time to time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConsentVault is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
